Naomi
Hello, I am Naomi Grace Richards; a qualified dance instructor and owner of NGDS. Teaching Disco Freestyle, Rock’n’Roll, Street Dance, Slow Dance and Lyrical, Commercial Dance, Dance Fitness & Yoga. I have over 20 years of dance experience and have been teaching for over a decade.
As a former competitive dancer, I have competed all around the UK up to Premier Champ level and held South of England and West Coast Championship titles. In my professional career, I’ve performed at Saddlers Wells Theatre, Her Majesty’s Theatre and at the Brit Awards for artists including Tom Jones, Mystique and Blue.
I am accredited by the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), registered with the Association of Dance Freestyle Professionals (ADFP) and hold a championship judging license. I am also a fitness professional with a BSc Honors Degree in Science and Management of Exercise and Health and QTS in Dance and Drama. I also have an acrotrix level 1 qualification.
I love Dancing, I love Teaching and I love to inspire children and adults. Leading people to become more creative and curious through Dance, Performing Arts and Education is the reason NGDS was created.
Naomi
Hi, I’m Naomi Stevens, I began dancing Jive and Rock’n’Roll at the age of 7 and discovered Disco Freestyle at age of 11. Competing for over 13 years I eventually retired at the age of 24 after gaining numerous titles as the South of England and West Coast Champion. I have performed at many venues including Her Majesty’s Theatre and Sadler’s Wells.
Since retiring from freestyle I have pursued a career in dance and gained new skills such as stilt walking, fire dancing and aerial work. I have danced in the UK and abroad in countries such as Rhodes, Barcelona and Portugal.
I hold a National Diploma in Performing Arts and I’m a qualified dance teacher up to Licentiate level in Freestyle, as well as being a qualified adjudicator for ADFP competitions. I also have an acrotrix level 1 qualification. Other qualifications also include both certified pole fitness and flexibility instructor and also a diploma in hair and media makeup.
My biggest aim is to help children and adults believe in themselves and what they are capable of and to focus on being strong, brave and kind. I also enjoy cake ☺
Lucy
Hello, my name is Lucy Prins and I’m a recent graduate from Tiffany Theatre College. I have been dancing since I was 5, starting off in freestyle disco in which I competed for 11 years gaining South West of England titles and becoming a premier champ. Whilst being in the freestyle disco world I had opportunities to dance at Her Majesty’s Theatre and even tour internationally in Germany. I then went on to be a part of West End Kids where I performed in multiple London theatres and even danced at the Regent Street Motor Show. Alongside this I studied A Level Dance and Performing Arts at college. Auditioning for colleges I was then granted a place at Tiffany Theatre College for 3 years broadening my dance, acting and singing skills and working alongside theatre professionals. I love all things musical theatre but my favourite is definitely Hamilton. I am a fully qualified dance teacher with associate and licentiate qualifications.
I was taught by both Naomi’s in dance and in pole and I’ve looked up to them both throughout my training. I hope I can be the same sort of inspiration to the pupils I go on to teach.

Introducing Me..... Kerri-Ann Andrew’s..I am the Business Manager for NGDS, and I love it ❤ Organisation is key!! And that’s definitely one of my best skills. You can rely on me always, for any up-to-date information, term dates, invoicing, fees and many other things. I guess anything other than the actual dancing bit, although I’m a fabulous dancer too of course! 😜
My background for the last 20 years is Sales, & Business Management. I have a BA (Honours) Business Management (Leadership Practice) Degree. I am very approachable and always happy to help if there is anything that I can assist with just ask. Also, I have two children who attend the dance school - Bluebell and Aria-Star so I am fully invested in Naomi Grace Dance Studio as a parent as well as a member of the team and recommend it highly to any prospective parents. I work alongside Naomi, Lucy & Naomi and offer advice when needed, especially around what works best from a parents perspective. NGDS is a great school, full of lovely talented children and supportive parents, three amazing dance teachers and I am very proud to be a part of it.
